Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms govern your use of LocalBox Tools. By using this site you agree to them. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the site.
1. Permitted use
The tools are free to use for any lawful purpose, including commercial work. There is no account, no licence fee and no usage cap. You may use the output of the tools — formatted JSON, decoded data, generated hashes — freely, without attribution.
2. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt the availability of this site or its hosting infrastructure
- Use automated requests at a volume that degrades service for others
- Attempt to introduce malicious code into, or extract source code from, the site beyond normal viewing
- Circumvent any advertising display in a way that constitutes ad fraud
- Use the tools to create unlawful content, including malicious payloads or material exploiting minors
- Copy substantial portions of the site's design, text or code and republish them as your own product
3. Advertising
The site is supported by display advertising served by third-party vendors. We do not accept payment to influence, rank or alter tool results, and ad content has no effect on how any tool computes its output. Blocking or ignoring advertisements is your choice, though it does reduce the support that keeps these tools free.
4. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, layout and original code are owned by us unless stated otherwise. The output you generate belongs to you. Third-party names and marks referenced in documentation remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you process here. Even though nothing is uploaded, please avoid pasting live production secrets while screen-sharing or in a shared browsing context, and redact credentials before sending anything to us by email.
6. Accuracy of results
We aim for correctness but provide no guarantee. See the Disclaimer for the full position, including important limitations around JWT verification and broken hash algorithms.
7. Modifications
These terms may be updated at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its revision date shown above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Termination
We may restrict access to any user who breaches these terms. Because the tools require no account, this is rarely necessary — most disputes are better resolved by simply getting in touch.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which the site is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights you may hold.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms are welcome via the contact page.
